Is there anyway to redo the bandits quest?

Players are not informed about the reward for killing all 3 ahead of time.....i only found out about the passive point recently when i looked on wiki for some help on the quest.

I think quest should get a chance for reset (at the drawback of losing your reward)
Or, for this particular quest, since the reward was not given in the form of a item, perhaps the all players could receive the reward of a passive point anyway?

What exactly are the reward outcomes. Are you given a hint at what youll get atleast? Sounds harsh but I guess noone can complain about it when the devs aim at hardcore players to start with. What is a problem imo is if you are given NO HINTS or information at all to make the choice.
I might have missed something, but it does actually pop up a large screen when you talk to them showing the rewards for helping them, if you choose to.

But maybe it only does this when you're in a group. Haven't tried solo.

EDIT: Forget this post, I might have misunderstood the question.

It's just one of those things you learn but a lot of people ask in general chat what the reward is or in their party chat so it's not like it's hard to find out but at the same time it wouldn't hurt to let players know the reward for killing all of them.

Edit: I forgot to actually answer your question :P NO you cannot redo the bandit quest you will have to re-roll your char.

Choice of rewards for normal difficulty:

40 HP
40 MP
8% all resists (dont think this includes chaos, someone confirm that?)
1 passive point.

The rewards are pretty evenly matched. a passive point in +HP wont outshine +40HP until very high levels (80+ depending on other passives), if you stack %HP it might still be better.

8% resists helps a lot at lower levels, I keep getting told you can max resists with gear easily even in cruel but even if thats true, having 8% inate means you can have a different affix on a piece of gear, or a different type of amulet for example.

Basically theres no wrong choice, all the options benefit any build (at least the normal level rewards).

Higher difficulties you can make a "wrong"choice with the rewards though. (hopefully you know what your doing by that point).
I agree on some way to reset this, as you have to fight and kill any players who vote the opposite, the winners get their choice, such a bad way of adding permanent stats.

This forced me to not party for these quests in case they joined and prevented me from getting my passive point.

u see how the reward is different once you move up to the next difficulty.... basically the 1 passive point is by far the best reward i like.... my problem with this quest is that you do not know about the "4th possible" reward (the passive point reward) until you actually kill the three by some sort of accident. I thought the only way to get anything out of this quest is to help one of the three.....

Players were not able to make fully informed decision, i felt that this was unfair.

this is also another HUGE problem.

I mean what if i am a melee cast who doesn't want CAST SPELL?!? or i am a witch who doesn't need physical damage!!
your not forced into it, your just forced to fight your party members.

Pretty sure if you choose not to kill him (and he dies from the other party members) it doesnt count as you killing him. Maybe it kicks you out of party IDK i dont quest in groups.
