Tri Element status Ailment stacking

So i have built a tri element split arrow build...but only ever see shock ailment apply...how come no burning or freeze? i use hatred anger and wrath

also use and have plenty of bonus flat elemental damage on gear

Am I doing something wrong? my tooltip says im doing well over 1000 flat fire,light,cold dmg

I think it's because when you do damage it might pick the highest of the elements damage done, and puts that effect on it the most? When you use only hatred, and have only a ring on with 1-7 lightning damage, you would be freezing and shattering on a crit, and not showing the tiny little bit of lightning damage? I could be wrong though.

My guess is you have resolute technique + some chance to shock, but no ignite or freeze chance from any source. Since resolute technique makes you unable to crit, you will not be able to cause elemental status effects unless you specifically have chance for them from passives, gear or a skill.

Hatred converts a percent of physical damage to cold so it doesn't add flat cold.
