Shadow of the Vaal.

Hey There,

I’ve reached a problem in act 2. I guess it’s a common one, but couldn’t find any proper solution on boards.

I’m at the Shadow of the Vaal quest, and all my map is covered in darkness. Now, I’m told that I’m supposed to do the bandit lord quest prior to The Shadow of the Vaal quest. How am I supposed to do that now, that everything is black and dark? I’ve tried to kill the bandit lords like that – and it really ins’t possible?

I got all waypoints to all banditlords. How to proceed from this point?

Thank you in advance

Kill the bandits.... :D
Really? I can't abbandon the Vaal quest and do the bandit one first?
I'm a little bit confused why you can't kill the bandit lords during the shadow of the vaal. You shouldn't have a problem completing that quest. Shadow of the Vaal just creates a visual blackness, it doesn't actually prohibit you from doing anything.
After you've killed the three bandit lords (or worked along with one), you get their three amulets which combine into an item you need to unlock the final Act II bossfight in the Ancient Pyramid.
You have to kill a minimum of 2 out of 3 bandits to proceed (you can choose to help the 3rd one). If you are not strong enough to kill them yourself, I would suggest joining a public group of people to help you kill them. Alternatively you could persuade someone who is much higher level than you to kill the bandits for you, I am sure if you offered an alchemy orb (or arranged some other trade) that someone else would assist you in killing the bandits.

Possibly cause i'm playing from a mac. Everything is black. I can see my skills and NPC names, but that's it. Is it supposed to be like that?

The "darkness" is just like being night outside, or something like that. If you're experiencing full black, and can't see a thing, then it might be your machine.

Nevermind - wen to options and enabled "post-processing" :D! Thanks tho!
It shouldn't be as black as you are describing. You should be able to see yourself and everything around you.
