Weather

I live in melbourne australia, which is known for having erratic weather. I've lived here all my life so I'm pretty used to it. But even for me sometimes it just seems ridiculous.

Today the temperature reached 43 degrees celsius (110 fehrenheit). On this day last week the top was 20 degrees. There's an uncontrolled bushfire burning less than 10km to the north east, and as I look out the window, I can see lightning from a thunderstorm that is approaching from the north-west.

I guess that's what you get when your planet was designed by rngesus, coalescing clouds of gas into balls and crashing them together.
I lived in Melbourne for 8 Years. The most miserable 8 Years of my life.

Now I live in Brisbane, Zeus' favorite place on Earth.

and there’s still going to be somebody who hates peaches.
In Adelaide today it is forecasting a high of 45C and tomorrow is going to be 46C.

Who says global warming isn't taking effect? My next house will be built upon a large hill as to avoid inevitable flooding once the polar icecaps melt.

I took a steak out to defrost last night, came back an hour later and it was cooked well done. I prefer my steak medium but the missus always over cooks it.

It's -20°C here in Sweden (-4°F).
Well, at least where I live in the states we've seen in the past 10 days temperatures range from -13C, with windchills of -25C to today being 15C and sunny...tonight it will drop back down to -3C with a chance of snow. lol

Then again, it's really not uncommon to have freezing/flurry weather one day where I live, and then nice enough to be on a boat in the sun by the weekend. Temperatures in the Summer months can reach upwards of 37C here with extremely high humidity and winter months can get as low as -10 to -15C as we've seen this winter with very wet conditions.

Ouch. If that happened here we'd be fucked. Totally unprepared for that sort of thing, I imagine all the water pipes would freeze and burst/crack, destroying tonnes of infrastructure, wildlife and flora would die en masse. Then there next day it would be beach weather.
UN report says temperatures in Adelaide will make it world's hottest city on Thursday 46C.

Yay, little old Adelaide finally tops the list. Power outages are predicted, should make for a very interesting day. I feel for the elderly in this weather.
