is Attack Speed viable?

I am going to play ranger as my first charc, I m thinking if attack speed is good enough to invest? As most of the build I saw didnt put any point on it.

Try making a 50 point build for people to see.

Well considering the cap is at 2.7 and that most weapons can give you huge boost of attack speed if you are lucky to identify one, I would say you are wasting points once you hit the cap.
