black cat in level 73 dark woods map

playing a lvl 73 dark woods map with totems, demons inhabited, more magic mobs, and 2 bosses. just noticed that there's a black cat that keeps following me around the map... similar to the one you can buy in the microtransaction, but I don't have that microtransation. whats the deal?? this a new thing in this map? a feature of demon inhabited maps??

my IRL cat is a demon in disguise, so i guess a cat following you on a demon inhabited map is alright ;)

It's been like that since they added critters in areas a while ago. Try Fellshrine Ruins. You will notice a tiny green lizard wandering all around you.
