d3dx9_42.dll Bad image fix.

It's a DIRECT X error, So after downloading the client.exe, if it shows this error.
I've seen plenty of people with this error and 0 post about the fix. So here it is.

1. Go to the file location of the client.exe
2.Inside the Redist folder, there're 2 rar file named Aug2009_d3dx9_42_ and Aug2009_D3DCompiler_42.
3.Using winrar or anything similar, extract d3dx9_42.dll and D3DCompiler_42.dll to your system32 folder (C:\Windows\System32 )
4.Execute the Client.exe again.

This works for me.

Did it, didnt work what should i try now?
I've reinstalled directx and that didnt work.

Try to extract that files to your game folder

Click on the DXSETUP let it install, that worked for me. This DXSETUP is located in the same file folder.

okay nerds, let's make this clear.

You people must extract Aug2009_D3DCompiler_42_x86 and Aug2009_d3dx9_42_x86.

And then copy those extracted files to GarenaPOE/GameData/Apps/POE. (Replace all existed files)


I'm trying to make this clear because I faced the problem too and those guys above said just extract the files and put it in the game folder.

Now, My problem is solved. No need Updates on directX.
