Steam and POE trading cards

Its not like it bothers me much, but when i migrated to steam, POE wasnt available in my region, but i added it to my library through new years "fancy items for different free to play games" event. And now i played for about 10-12 hours, and still got not a single one trading card. When i try to reach for store page of POE on steam it still says thatn this game is not available. There is something wrong going on, and i dont know what, so please help :)

You cannot get cards unless you install PoE through the Steam Store (not through adding to an existing install). This means that the Steam version needs to be available in your region.
There are ways to install PoE through Steam from the Steam Store, but I don't know if it would still recognize the game for the trading cards or not. I know for SURE you CANNOT purchase Steam Wallet points for PoE if it is not available in your region. For a hint on installing PoE into Steam, look for ?cc=us and you should be able to find something. As I said, this is not technically supported and you won't be able to buy points through Steam, but you can play the game through Steam properly, and it MIGHT work with the trading cards.. I don't know for certain though. |
