This game is waste of time

First of all, you can say game is great, and i agree is some aspects, the thing is that i will give you my personal opinion about this game and about if it is worth playing.

2 Rules every game should accomplish for me are:

1) It should not be p2w = PoE offers you this
2) No bugs = PoE doesn't offer you this.

Yea, let's elaborate on the 2nd one.

I know all the games have bugs, but honestly, i never knew what desync means until i started playing this game, you can say all games have it, but you are wrong, i can name you hundred of games i have played and noon has it.

D1 D2 D3 and yea some people say D3 has desync but i have played it for like 6 month and never ever experienced desync or any kind of bug. Sacred Sacred 2 Titan Quest Torchlight 2 even has the same combat system as PoE you can dodge melee attacks by moving away i did my testings. More games i can´t remember without adding call of duty Battlefield GTA FireFall World of Tanks and tons more games like LoL DOTA 2 i have played, and i have enjoyed them so much.

Why i cant enjoy PoE, at least not anymore. I never died from desync in 1 year of game-time. Thing is that i did die probably 10 times from bugs. And did die few times cuz i got killed by mobs, my bad, i took it with laugh and re-rolled with a smile in my face knowing i learnt something else.

But last month i died from desync, it was ridiculous. Little monkeys with storm herald and vaal totem that makes then unkillable killed me. How ? i was testing my new class, i did respec at level 86 on Nemesis wasted 8 exalts on gear and regrets together, then had it finish, and before anything just to mention, i fought double jungle valley bosses and Dominus in residence, then i wanted to test my new build in an easy map, level 68, and those monkeys were around me, but not behind me, so i wanted to face-tank the moneys and the storm herald to test the Bloodseeker claw (instant life-leech) so did i, survived and decided to move back away from the totem and kill them, ran back a screen and instantly died because in the server i was not even moving, i was at the same place where i was few seconds ago, and seems like there were monkeys behind me.

What is the point of playing the game. Yes i can make another level 80 in a week, yes i can do that, but the point is that, whenever i play this game, i feel like i waste my time, i feel like the devs dont deserve my time to be spent in their game, i do regret spending money on this game, and i do quit this game for ever or until it is fixed.

And yea, you can say see ya in a week, but for those who know me, know i quit, i have a Spanish youtube channel that i upload videos of the games i played, and haven't been uploading videos about PoE like 1 month, just uploaded 1 today to say i probably quit for ever, and im sorry for all those who subscribed to me because of my PoE videos.

I feel sorry for this game, and for the people who defend the devs so much saying, in what toaster you play that you have fps drops, even they have the same problem but they just keep asking those stupid questions.

Got a 1000$ PC that is able to run almost every single game at max graphics, FireFall is one of those.

In my opinion devs don't deserve any second and cent of my time, they just dont. There are plenty of other games out there that i enjoy playing.

If only people stopped playing the game, believe me they will fix desync from the night to the day. The problem is that there are people who say the game is perfect, so they should not care about improving it.

I dont care who are the devs, i dont care how and where they started the development, i care about the game im playing, i play it for fun, not for waste my time. I dont care if blizzard makes a game, even if they failed with D3, if that game is good i will play it. I dont care if they are indie or poor or what ever, if you cant fix your game then you dont deserve my time here.

I have played a similar game to this one, called Archlord. It was full of bugs and it was p2w. From that game i have learnt that devs steal the money of the customers, because the customers keep playing the game and keep PAYING money to their pockets. So i have learnt, i will play if they deserve it. Oh and, they gone to that degree in Archlord, that they are closing the servers and shutting down the game this month. Check it out, it was a great game 5 years ago, it wasnt that much p2w, but i know people spending 200$ a month in that game, and those people are the reason why they never fixed the game.

It is kinda the same situation here. Those people paying 15.000$ for some support packs or what ever, are the reason why this game wont ever get fixed. As long as they make money from it, they wont even try to.

Enjoy your time, and remember, spend your wisely, in general playing games is a waste of time, but at least waste it to someone who made a good game.

Desync is great! ...said no one ever.

Most reasonable people who go to bat for PoE state that, yes, it has its share of problems, but everything else about it makes it worth playing. I don't think any one of we long time supporters have said the game is perfect. At least, not in a general sense.

If you regret spending on PoE, that's your own fault. Spend your money more wisely next time. But otherwise I'm sorry you no longer enjoy Path. Hopefully you'll find something more to your liking :)

Judging from the number of high level character you've made I think you've got lots of enjoyment for the support you have given.

Desync sucks and everyone wants better netcode. GGG devs want it most.

Bugs are the character killer for me too.

I lost like 5 or 6 character in Nemesis to bs death, infinite loading, load crash,boss crash ect.. on the last one I got bored and suicided all my Nemesis char. Now I play default and won't touch Hardcore until it stable. Not as exciting but still enjoyable.

There are no "reasonable people" who go to bat for POE.

It's impossible to be reasonable when given an unreasonable premise.

Well stated, OP. This game is broken, and it's the people claiming it's *not* broken who are delaying the fixes for the rest of us.

I go to bat for PoE and GGG all the time, but by no means have I ever said the game is perfect. I understand fully all the imperfections the game currently has. However, claiming that these imperfections make the game "unplayable" is simply not true. To me the game is more enjoyable than any other current title and has been for quite some time.

If we're talking about specifically the Action RPG genre that's because Path of Exile has basically zero competition. In other genres, there's plenty of games that are far better. Hell, I'd go as far as to say that Borderlands 2 does a better job at action rpg than PoE does, and that's saying alot.
