Crafting a helm, need help in choosing what to aim for to make it mirror worthy

Managed to get these mods with less than 60 alts + 1 regal. And for the first time i decided to make a perfect (for my build) helm with the highest rolls for myself. Browsing the forums abit i found that ppl offer mirroring service not only to the top end weapons/armors but other pieces as well - so that help in choosing for what mods to aim for is basically to make this helm mirror worthy (or it wont be no matter what i roll out?). So, i got 3 options to aim for: 1) To go for max rarity (50 from the suffix & prefix) and 1 resist (thinking chaos, since it would benefit me more, but any other is fine also i guess) 2) To go for flat energy shield, rarity from the suffix list and 1 resist 3) flat energy shield + 2 resists. Which of these choises would add more worth to this helmet in other ppl eyes and can it become mirror worthy?or the only mirror worthy hubrid item would be x3 resists + life + %ES + flat ES? The following are just personal opinion on the matter,i may be wrong.
You have 3 top tier rolls,with 2 of them "perfect",so good so far. Problem 1: ES/Life hybrid builds ain't that popular,most go either pure life or pure ES. Problem 2: It's a helm.Helms are a low priority for mirroring. which leads... to low chance that someone will be interested. Problem 3: You have Quantity,which means you can't roll 3 resist. which leads... People will usually mirror items that are END game,you don't need IR/IQ on them,because you don't need to find better items than that.So a hybrid IQ with resists most likely won't get mirrored. What about pure IR/IQ: You can potentially create the perfect helm for a hybrid ES/Life MF char. Question is:Is there a (popular) build like that and are people willing to mirror MF items? (I can't answer that) Also be prepared to spend a LOT of currency creating a 5 or 6 top roll helm. Tl;dr:Not worthy to craft for mirroring,would craft for personal use,if i liked crafting. so you have like 20 eternals and 100 ex or so?
if not dont bother. if yes, how could you gather so many orbs but have to make a post about crafting? |

" Thanks for taking ur time to reply to this thread. I personally searched alot for a top rolled magic find helm with little success. And my end game is hoarding even more orbs than i have now, that is my entire goal in this game. Am already clearing nearly all maps without much trouble, so having over capped resists would be just a waste, at least for me.. Thats why im interested if, say, a perfect MF hybrid helmet would interest ppl enough to be considered mirror worthy. Im, myself, am running with EB and MoM and trying to stack as much iir + iiq as possible, wont achieve as much as those pure MF chars (34% iiq & 182% atm), but if i get the right gear it can improve quite alot without sacrificing much of my killing speed. " I have about 80ex. Created a post about crafting since i never tryed to craft a mirror worthy item and i certainly didnt pay any attention to what is considered a perfect piece of gear that isnt a weapon or armor. IGN:

Well seeing that helm i think to make it mirror worthy, you would need 2 rolls of iir and if there is a possibilty of flat es roll or a chaos res.
But be warned, people dont usually mirror hybrid rarity stuff. Also it really limits options if you have a mirrored 4l item, as new gems come out regurarly, people tend to change colors on stuff to try out new gems, so having a mirrored helm is a minus. |

" Yes, 2 iir rolls + 1 resist is possible, if i want flat es i would need to give up on 1 iir roll. Basically, i can craft it but it wont be a popular item, so i cant expect much interest in mirroring it.. But if i succeed, it will be the best thing i can get for my built. Im so going to be broken and cursing my bad luck when i start crafting lol. IGN:

well i would mirror mf hybrid stuff if ES is > 300.

there is no helm in this game , that i would pay over 10 exa for.
there is just no need. most cost comes from having good stat AND 6l 4l are dirt cheap. and helms dont contribute a massive amount of armor even with amazing rolls yeah the items with the best returns for crafting or chests and weapons. Last edited by Saltychipmunk#1430 on Dec 19, 2013, 12:46:05 PM

I understand that the best return in crating is from chests and weapons, they are, after all, the first BiS thing most ppl try to get or at least close to being BiS as it can get. " But i have seen gloves/boots/rings/amu's put on for mirroring service, some with lists on how many times they were mirrored and if those persons who posted them arent lying by writing down fake info then someone is actually mirroring stuff that arent just weapons/body armors. Well, thanks for all ur thoughts so far ppl, my quest in crafting a best in slot hybrid helmet will prolly be on hold for some time. Need to rethink this and be content with a somewhat mediocre one i got now. IGN:
