Can incinerate have it's burning damage buffed?

I think it's a little ridiculous how little damage the burn from incinerate does. It should be buffed proportionally to the nerf on +damage support gems to incinerate

" that's not why incinerate's burn is small it's because incinerate is actually many many small hits, each hit can cause a burn but the burn only does 4/3'rd of the damage of that tiny tiny hit over 3 seconds. aka nearly nothing and the burns from all those small hits don't stack at all. even if you buffed burning damage by 1000% it would still be a tiny burn IGN: OldManBalls (Warbands)

I KNOW burn = 20% of original damage each second for 4 seconds. Incinerate is wimpy in that fact cause it is many small hits, so what I'm saying is too buff burning only for incinerate. It's like how added lightning damage or such is reduced, cause having that amount of lightning damage on all those hits per second would be op. " Incinerate is not meant as a burn spell. If you want burn spells, you should look into skills like Discharge, Fireball, or Firestorm. As to what Incinerate was meant for, it seems that a Blood Magic, Iron Will, Life Gain on Hit build would best use Incinerate to restore life. Since each projectile can hit multiple targets while still doing a considerable amount of damage. But that's just what most, reasonable people do. But it doesn't seem you'll listen to them, and just say all you want is it's burn damage buffed. |
