Sharing Quests

I was trying to search on the forums to see how it was done and I don't see it. But I was playing with a friend earlier and I assumed if we were in a party then our stories would be shared and no matter who picks up the "story item" and "turns the quest in" then it would effect both players.

It hasn't happened at all and I've been searching for a while but can't seem to find it. Is this even an option in the game, did I miss the option to do this or is my game glitched? I apologize if this is the wrong lace to put it, but I can't seem to use the search option correctly because I couldn't find any threads talking about this at all.

You can't share quests. Both of you need to turn the quest in, and actually have it.

Are there any plans on doing this in the future? Or is this not a popular request?

Why would you not want to do the quests yourself? If you're killing stuff with your friend, why wouldn't you pick up quest items when your friend does?

I was just asking, I know in other games you can do that; it's not a big deal but if we're questing and just plowing through mobs I thought it might be a little easier to have only one pick the item up and keep moving is all.

But I see it's not popular so thank you for answering my question.

Edit: Also, I have no problems questing by myself; I"m currently working on Nemesis on solo but I like to play games with my boyfriend and was just curious if the option was available.
