mana management with multistrike

Hi guys i do have a question:
i do have 589 mana
213 of it is reserved by hatred
203 by clarity (lvl 15)

mana reservation cost is reduced by 40%

My question is: Lightningstrike with multistrike costs 62 mana and has an attack time of 0,21 seconds equal 4,762 aps.
multistrike makes it attack 3 times right? so the skill costs 62 mana in 3*0,21=0,63 seconds right?

that would be about 98,4 mana/second

noow, I do have 79 mana reg now (clarity lvl15) and with a lvl20 clarity it will be about 100 i guess.

Will i then recover as much mana as i use or did i mess something up?

and ill only have about 110 mana left overall.

I don't know about the math, but it seems like you would run out real quick. You might want to look into the Blood Magic gem or keystone.

If his math is accurate his regeneration should sustain his attack.

I am not very good in math so i cant really check if you made an error. Maybe you should post this in the gameplay help section, there are some math savi people in there.

yes u did, it only costs 1x the mana costs per multistrike, a skill costs 1x the costs each time it is used.

If there's a skill that will do 10000x strke a second, will the mana cost be 10000x original? no

Just bought a lvl20 clarity...and now I do have 93,6 manareg, 5 too less to completely compensate the manacost of my skill.

i used blood magic before but hatred took 1/4 of my life :'D

all in all: with 98,4 mana reg it should work without problems. But my curses and cast on damage taken stuff needs to get a BM link now^^

actually you messed something up now^^ i never said that multistrike costs 3 times 62 mana.
i figured out that it costs 62 mana in 3x0,21 seconds if you use multistrike and tooltip says your attackspeed is 0,21.

I also find the mana cost of spells linked with CwDT too damn high. xD

Multistrike is actually great for your manapool. Each three hits is counted as only one cast so you use up less mana for more damage.
