Suggestion about spammer bots and more.

Hello. Since it's my first post I want to introduce my self in the forum and in the community. I have played this game since two weeks and I have to say that it's an amazing game and the best of all: FREE TO PLAY.
I see people always complain about bots that always come to server and announce web pages that will steal you everything or something like that. They are usually spamming the chat and it also annoys me since I ask questions and with the spam people can't read them.  Global chat is usually used for question that new player make but how about add a min lvl to use global and trade chat?, yes It was suggested as someone said in the global chat but I am not going to suggest only that. My idea is this: *Account must have a player at least level 5 to use global and trade chat. *New player that want to use global chat will get a messagge like this: "You need to have a character lvl 5+ in your account to use global and trade chat. However, if you need help, you can use /ask (*) to ask for help". *Operators, admins, whatever will answer questions made with that last command. This system perhaps will make spam, but make also mute function work against commands like that. And you could also make a rule against spammers. (*) That command is a suggest too, I worked in a SA:MP server and something like that works amazing for new players. You can also make that level 10-20+ can't use that command, so you avoid people making jokes or something like that. I don't know how your administrator system works but I think it's a good suggestion that even if you got a lot of players, getting operators that can only answer and do something more will be fine. This suggestion also provides staff people to get close to players. Well, that's all. I hope you like it and if you have another nice idea that can be added to this post, tell me and I will edit it. " I think that would be hard but if you talk in game can be but perhaps it would make normal players get banned by linking any web... I forgot to ask a question: Do this game have a range ban system?, perhaps bots can be range banned but it can also be bad for players if they have close ips. Well, this is another suggestion. |
