Recipe for The Taming no longer works?

I just lost three Berek's Rings... does the recipe for The Taming no longer work?

That was painful. All I got was 17 Alteration and 18 Alchemy shards...

The trade window gives you a preview of what you're going to get before you click accept...

EDIT: To answer your question, it seems the recipe never worked on Standard League, but to my knowledge it should work in Nemesis and Domination, though if it doesn't it might have been a bug

Well that sucks. Multiple posts here in the forum answer the question "Does The Taming recipe work in Standard" with a "Yes it does."

And the POE Wiki describes The Taming in several places - including the Vendor Recipes list - without ever specifying that it does not work in Standard.

maybe the wiki should have this info under the recipe area so players don't collect the 3 rings in standard only to find it doesn't work.

Of course you can. The wiki is made by players, not GGG.

i didn't know that otherwise i might have just done that instead of "complaing" about it
