Maligaro's Spike Stays In Inventory?

Hello, recently I have completed the quest "Sharp and Cruel", which requires you to loot an item named "Maligaro's Spike". After I turned in the quest, the item is still in my inventory. Any suggestions?

Oh really? Wish it would've mentioned that in the quest log, I was in a rush at the time I turned that in (went afk and instances reset very quickly) so I didn't read it. Thanks for the notice.

I also found it before i had the quest to find it. It then said go see silk for a reward, so i did. The spike stayed in my inventory. Wasn't able to delete it or move it into stash even.
Then after speaking to the old npc he said if i find the spike i should throw it in the river.

So i did throw it in the river but when i did i then got a quest "Root of the problem" to go back and kill weaver and find the spike again. Then before i left the riverbank where i had thrown the spike i noticed it there on the bank next to me. Picked it up and the quest vanished, no trace of it in my log at all.

So i throw the spike back in the water, same thing happens, quest appears to go kill weaver. This time the spike isn't laying on the bank next to me, so i guess i will just go complete the quest again.

Sounds like a bug :)

I am going to fix this so it's obvious you need to keep the Spike.

Thank you Rhys. From looking at the quest info and the item info itself, it's not apparent as to why we have it :P

i sorta found that odd too.. I have the spike before I even got the mission for it.
