"Summon Skeleton Support GEM" READ INSIDE TO SEE WHY!!

I would love to see a summon skeleton support gem like the spell totem, range totem, trap gem

but this one would be raise skeleton for lets say 30 seconds or less, and you can use it with gems like, split arrow, cleave, elemental hit, frost wave, fire ball or what ever your little clever mind comes up with.


that way, I have the ability to summon range or caster style of skeletons of my choice.

Just an idea if totems and traps have it I think summoners should too :P

or make 2 gems one called caster skeleton and the other range skeleton that way you can make either a spell caster style or a range style caster and limit to like summons only 1 skeleton at a time and up to 2 total at level 1 and at level 20 it can have 10 skeletons and a quality level will had cast or projectile speed buffs

I really like this idea, but I don't think it will be put into the game. Summoners aren't exactly in need of yet another minion, especially considering that we got two new types not too long ago (guardian, weapon).

id gladly drop the guardian for a ranged minion thats not a spectre of a ranged mob, i havnt come across the weapon yet though.

the guardian does not allow you to summon him with a wand or bow

Does Cast-on-Crit not work for this? I had assumed that it would pop a pair of skeletons right by the target every time you got a critical on it with Elemental Hit or Frenzy.

Yours is truly random. Mine addresses one part of your request; namely, that it should be possible to auto-summon minions using attack abilities.
