Storm Call Fire Trapper

Hi guys,

Been pondering this and working on this build for a little bit, heres what i came up with in the last 15 minutes,

thoughts?



I prefere life based builds but i could easily switch it to be ES, in fact i was considering stacking lots of mana nodes and ES nodes and going cloak of defiance+EB.

Anyways with the life based build i would be using:
Helm------->Bear Trap Culling Strike Added fire dmg,(free slot for leveling gem here)
Chest------>Fire trap, CONC effect, inc burning effect, Fire Pen, (if 5L ele prolif)
Boots------>(Deerhunter so free trap gem till I level a level 20 one) Storm Call Ele Prolif, Conc Effect, Lightning Pen, Multiple Traps,
Belt------>would be a sunblast belt,
Spell damage mod wand,
Rapith Globe titanium spirit shield,
undecided on chest, will most likly be a armor/evasion rolled chest with ele res and health possibly,
Amulet is also undecided but prob spell damage, increased res/armor,
Rings will be resistances and health mostly prob some spell damage if i can roll it.\

EDIT:Ele prolif is an assumption that it can get stock stacks on enemies as it's a lightning spell, if not i guess I have a free spot to use portal gem.


Goal is to use Fire trap for larger AOE while Storm call to burst rares,uniques and boses, Bear trap can be used to keep them in place in order to land the most storm calls or in order to cull a boss.

Fire trap with concentrated effect without multitrap or increased AoE will give you a hard time clearing mobs of a good size.
