Lightning Arrow, Rain of Arrows, or Split Arrow? Favorite Skill Gem Combos?

What's your favorite area of effect bow skill and why? Which has the highest potential dps? What linked skill gems do you like to use?

I keep waffling back and forth between Rain of Arrows and Split Arrow. I feel like Rain of Arrows could be awesome with Concentrated Effect (even if it limits the area of effect) and Point Blank, but I'm mostly using Split Arrow with Pierce and Faster Attacks. I plan to add in Lesser Multiple Projectiles and Increased Critical Damage once I get better gear.

Does anyone use Culling Strike?

How do you feel about Point Blank in the passive skill tree? It doesn't seem like many builds use it.

If Faster Attacks tears through your mana, might it be better to go with Faster Projectiles?

I will use Culling strike on my Frenzy If I 6L bow.

i ran split + pierce for the majority of my leveling, but found split + chain to be a much more potent combo (but also more mana hungry)

i'm going to be trying out RoA instead of split + chain soon since the mana issues are annoying, and i can free up one additional socket for maybe added fire or conc effect (more damage).

I'm going for split arrow with chain + Life on hit + faster attacks and the 5 gem will either be added fire or faster projectiles dunno yet, but probably added fire.

Has to be used with BM to be sustainable though.. I don't think either LMP or GMP is needed with split arrow...
