Searing Touch

Is the searing touch going to nerfed anytime soon? If so, would the ones that dropped previously become legacy like kaoms or will it ruin all of them? I ask because:

I am playing in the nemesis league. Many of the high ilvl searing touch are currently selling for 1 exalt or more because of kripp and his discharge build. I personally want to play an incinerate build. I have amassed enough currency to be able to buy a searing touch but thats about it. I don't want to waste all my currency on an item if it is going to get nerfed.

I want to make a burning fireball build but, nooooo. Kripp's build has made the Searing Touch go up to atrocious prices. :c

Imagine how broken Dischargers actually are if I told you Kripp wasted so many nodes he could've used for more survivability or damage.
