Path Of Trading - gem values, orb calculator, trading tips

I started playing Path of Exile when 1.0 version launched. Found this game few hours before launch so I decided to wait and try it. Well, I am still here :-)

I was shocked with how PoE community is great. Most MMO games community is their worst downside.

Friendly people helping each other out, Administrators/Moderators (don't know how to name you guys) keeping global and trade chats away from spam, banning scammers and botters.

Game is kept clean and I really enjoy it, therefore I decided to contribute.

I am developing websites just as a hobby, thought I would try my JavaScript skills so I created this simple website.

Experienced players knows exchange ratios and they don't need to check them, however calculating multiple of them might be useful.

New players will also find some explanations on skill gems and trading system informations as well.

I have also added list of most common abbreviations.

Some people may complain about AdSense - money earned will be used to maintain the domain and hosting. I have placed the banner in a way they will not hurt your eyes.

I am aware of the fact that it is not perfect and still needs modifications.
If you have any suggestions about the site, especially values, grammar(english is not my native language), please PM me here on forum.

I hope I will not get banned for advertising PoE website :-)

Nice site, but the currency calculator will never be accurate, thus it's probably better new players try to figure out what goes for what by watching trade, or asking an experienced player.
Also, currency ratios differ from each league.
Most of the currency ratio websites back in the days that most people used as a reference were bought out by RMT.
It's probably better you remove the currency calculator, but that's just my opinion.

I don't know about the ads so i will assume this is a good website.


@ald4r1s : If you made me Admin on your website and gave me enough time i could write long price check guides(need several weeks(months?) tho)

Well this is a fanmade project therefore I am not going to sell it to chinese botters(no offense to chinese people) since they tend to ruin every game the get into.

Currency calculator is based on domination league, but from observations I can see that they are slowly becoming global. This is just to help keep things simple, some may find it useful some not. Of course it is the best solution to know the values by trading, but it is good for starters.

I feel bad for people who sell exalted orb for 2 chaos.
Lowballers are second main reason I created this site.

Calculator is there to get a general sense of value for orbs which i found helpful.
Gem section will help most new players not to overpay some stuff they really need when starting out. Tips and tricks was interesting and most important part was to guide players on what has value and what items to pick up, link in trade chat or even make a forum shop!

All in all i can recommend this site to anyone who is just starting out with the game to get some useful info.
