Leagues

What are all these Leagues for?
I was playing in Beta, and now all of my Characters are stuck in Standart League, while all new Characters are being created in Domination (for which I could not find any explanation - what is Dominations League? It says it nowhere ingame)

All I know is, I cannot play with my friends that have started to play the game independantly without one of us having to entirely re-roll our Character in a different League.

I get Hardcore, and I get PvP, but why do you feel the need to splinter the community in such a way?

so 1 - can someone tell me what is actually different in Domination League
2 - can you add these descriptions ingame?
and 3 - If the difference is not so high (which I assume since it's been promoted to be auto-selected upon a new Character creation) than what is the point of having Standart League still exist?

To start with a fresh economy, with a new ladder.
Especially since for a lot of people, rerolling is an important part of the game.

I get that.
The question still stands:

What's the point of calling a league "Standart" if it has been replaced de fecto as the standart by another league.
Seems to me they could've just patched the Domination-features (which I still havent disconvered) into Standart.

It is called Standard because eventually all other leagues feed into it. When Domination ends, characters move to Standard, when a HC character dies, it moves to Standard, etc.

So Domination is on a timer?
Didn't know that.

Why don't they put up a description somewhere on the page (or am I just too dumb to find - its ok, just tell me :D )
