Lost APEX and Can't progress

Not sure how but I managed to lose the Apex. I had it because I activated and Killed Vaal but not I can't get to the next difficulty. Anyone know how I can get it back or re-activate the quest line or anything?

Not sure... but I believe that once you have activated and released OverSeer you can just activate it again without the Apex...
Try that, and after killing him, pop a portal and use exit first, then use the WP back to Act2 and access your portal -- Providing opinions since I was old enough to tell my sister she was ugly. |

had to go back and kill him again. works this time.

You have to reset the instance and kill val all over again.
One common way for those things to happen is to have a totem, minion or a dot kill a boss after you have died. Since you weren't there you don't get credit for it. Fight censorship
