Can Elemental Equilibrium work with Rain of Arrows
I would like to try a build that uses Rain of Arrows that do (mostly) elemental damage. Specifically fire and lightning, along with elemental equilibrium. I haven't really found any builds that do this so I am not even sure if these two skills will actually work, or if it is just not very viable so no one has done it. Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

" In theory you could make two rain of arrows. One with added fire and one with added lit and alternate between the two. The only problem is that you cannot run any elemental aura's, be in a party with any, or use any +ele damage mods on any gear including your weapon. |

" Or if cast on crit works with RoA you can have one element tied to the RoA skill and have a 2nd element tied to the skill it activates when it crits. You'd still need to limit it to 1 element at a time though. Last edited by Jiero#2499 on Nov 15, 2013, 12:51:45 AM

That is a valid point, you could have RoA linked with added light, cast on crit, frost nova, and cold to fire. This would give you -100 resist to light. However if you didn't crit your next shot would give +50 resist to light. This then pushes your build to maximize crit change. Now we're up to a 5L with added light and improved crit chance as the only supports. If you get the new eyeball hat maybe you could focus on spell damage to have the nova hurt more, or maybe that's a horrible path. Down this path you can lightning aura, and you can have +lit damage on gear, but cannot have any +fire or +cold. In addition it's going to be horrible until you get a VERY high crit chance. Even then I don't know if it'd be worth using all those supports. Maybe if you're critting goups non stop with ele damage at -100 resist it will be sweet. The gear requirements make me sad though.
You could also try a frost nova totem instead of cast on crit. This is a little more awkward but probably a lot better. The ele gear requirements still make it a pain in the ass though. Last edited by Saffell#4179 on Nov 15, 2013, 1:00:07 AM
