I know people hate Glassblower's Baubles... but this is crazy.

I understand that the drop rate was nerfed in 1.0 on the baubles, to a lot of cheers (I myself even cheered). But the current drop rate is such a drastic overshoot in the other direction, that I think it might need addressed, if nothing else, in the new leagues.

My Domination Char is 58, I'm in Merc, ready to kill merveil, and I've looted: 2

I almost have enough flasks that have dropped superior to sell off for a third bauble.

This can't really be the intended drop rate is it?

It's better now. Previously none even bother to lean and pick 'em up. Now they'll have value.
WTS : the_orb_which_name_I_cannot_even_pronounce_properly for chaos 5:1. Something like that in near future.

Going on rarity of drop, the only orbs I've had drop at a lower rate than Baubles:

Baubles: 2 drop
GCP 2 drops
Exalted Orb 1 Drop
Eternal Orb 0 Drop
Divine Orb 0 Drop


For comparison

Chaos Orb: 7 drop
Orb of Alchemy 10+ drop
Jewelrs Orbs 10+ drop
Orb of Fusing 5 drop
Blessed Orb 4 drop

Surely, the idea wasn't to make them drop as rarely as the "near top" tier orbs was it? Was the idea to make 20% flasks more difficult to come by, by such a large %?

I have 12, I think I looted 2 or 3 of them. It doesn't really bother me though.

it is not a huge deal , though i do find it entertaining that i have acquired 15 chaos for every one glass blower bulb and about 30 alchemy orbs to every one glass blower bulb .

You will have to do the recipe for it. Vendoring flasks with a total of 40+% quality, or one 20% quality flask.

You can also buy superior flasks from vendors on level up.

I have purchased the two I found. I guess I'm going to need to start going back through all the difficulties / vendors on level up to check.

Just pick up every superior flask you find and you will have enough of them to upgrade your end-game flasks.
