Is PoE LAN party playable?

Hi, my friends and I would like to get together in-person for a LAN party and would like to play PoE. None of us have played the game and we would all be starting new characters.

Can multiple players play this game from one IP?

Can anyone foresee any problems with this?

Also, any advice for new characters/players? There will be Six of us, should we be worried about party composition, etc?

there shouldnt be any problem aslong as you have an internet connection

There is no LAN mode sadly but you all should be fine playing in the same house online. I do it fairly regulary and never had any issues. As far as group composition, don't worry about there's really no spcific roles to play in a group other than dps just play whatever you feel like. If your all new the best advice I can give is don't skimp on health nodes, if you do you will regret that late game and also remember there are no full respecs so plan ahead on your build and above all have fun!

I went over to a friends house this weekend and i ripped 3 times to lmp dogs in docks xD i was a glass cannon ranger though. Make sure to get LOTS of life nodes and try and use items you find with Life rolls on them. Cheers and good luck m8!

And by life nodes you mean the dots on the skill tree that say +8% maximum life? Work towards plenty of those?
