Purity + Increased Aura Effect

I assumed that the % increased aura effect nodes worked with purity. So at purity level 16, with 38% increased aura effect, I should have:
25*(1+.38) = 34.5% resists Tooltip only reads 25%. Is the tooltip bugged, is my formula wrong, or does the node just not work with clarity? Not at home so can't do any testing on my own right now, so I've turned to you GD. Little help please? IGN DanteAllighari - Standard

The tooltip does not include any of the buffs to auras, the effect of it listed in your character panel should though.

i Got 37% increased effect of auras from passives so far.
When i hover on the aura on the equipped bar, it dont show any increase in effect. When i click "C" and click on the aura' it doesnt show any improvements in effect. I have tried clicking on the aura and then switching between Offence, Misc, Charges and Defence but cant see anything regarding the improvements in effect. Where excactly can you see the improvements ? have checkout out 7 different auras and not even 1 of them show correct updated effect anywhere. Why would i want to see that i get 11.8 mana if i actually get 37% more mana then that. Do i have to calculate the increase in effect myself ? I got level 9 clarity. It shows that it will give me 11.8 mana per sec. My original mana per sec is 5.3. When i put on clarity i get 23.2 mana per sec. 23.2 - 5.3 = 17.9. This means that it is off by 6.1 .. " Have checked in town and in mobs area. No difference. It shows same incorrect information no matter where i am. I get the increased effect, it just dont show it correctly. |

" Im exactly in the same situation..... my build is based on increased effect of Aura. The same situation with Clarity, but I can not see any upgrade. The Stats page from my player, not show any change with nodes and without them. I tested while playing (not in town), done recast too and switch into different zones. Where are you "seeing" that the increase for your clarity is 17.9 ??? Mine is fixed before and after apply the node. Thanks! EDIT: --------------------------------- SOLVED Now I can see it clear :P --------------------------------- Clarity: 38.9 without clarity 87.2 The aura without buffs 92.9 with +12% effect of aura Thanks for the good MATHS!!! sorry for the necro, but does increased aura effect affect the purity's maximum resistance also? Is there any way to increase that purity's 3% maximum any higher?

Yes aura effect affects the % max resistance of the purity auras. Getting them to lvl 23 also increases it.
