Item with 8 stats (+one implicite property)

Unavailable
I thought that the maximum number of stats for one item was 6 (+1 implicite) but as you can see, i found one item with not 7 but 8 properties.
This is the only items with such a high number of properties (never found one with 7)

Have you ever found an item with more than 6 properties ? Is this normal ?

8 mods, count 'em.

Prefixes:

Conjuror's (Spell Damage +%, Base Maximum Mana)
Journeyman's (Local Physical Damage +%, Local Accuracy Rating)
Razor Sharp (Local Minimum Added Physical Damage, Local Maximum Added Physical Damage)

Suffixes:

of Mastery (Local Attack Speed +%)
of Snow (Cold Damage +%)
of Sparks (Lightning Damage +%)

Voila. The key is the first 2 prefixes add 2 mods. It's not that rares can only have 6 mods, it's that they can only have 6 prefixes.

The limit is that a (rare) item can only have 6 mods. There is no limit to the number of stats, and some mods provide multiple stats.

This item has 6 mods, two of which are providing two stats each, and the other four providing one stat each.

No, an item can have only 6 mods, and only three of those mods can be prefixes, and three can be suffixes. An non-unique item can never have six prefixes, or more than six mods.

we are having lines crossed between D3 terminology and GGG terminology.

In D3 an "affix" could be a "prefix" or a "suffix". "Mods" came with an affix. An affix could have more than one mod.

Mark is saying here that a modifier may have more than one stat in PoE. It's a completely analog idea, just confused unfortunately by the terminology we're used to.

I don't have alpha access, that was a LONG time ago.
I have not checked but does that mean that potentialy an object could have 12 stats (+1 implicit) ?
Mod = Affix
Affix = Prefix or Suffix
Some Prefixes can have two stats, or properties, but are still considered as just one Mod.

Magic items can have 2 Mods, one Prefix and one Suffix. This means a possible maximum of 3 properties in addition to any Implicit properties.
Rare items can have 6 Mods, 3 Prefixes and 3 Suffixes. This means a possible maximum of 8 properties in addition to any Implicit properties.
Unique items are not bound by these rules and may exceed 8 properties.

I meant mod as stat, and accidentally typed "prefix" instead of just "affix" -- thanks for the correction :D

Minor nitpick to my own post: unique items can exceed 6 mods, and could theoretically exceed 3 mods that are usually prefixes, although many mods on uniques are not from the regular mod pool of prefixes and suffixes.

They can have 6 affixes; 3 prefixes + 3 suffixes, is what I believe you meant. :)

Same thing Mark said basically, he's just using different terminology.

Are you saying that it could possibly be 4 prefixes + 2 suffixes?
