[Friends List] Can't add someone

I had this issue prior and was unable to add someone about a week ago but didn't think nothing of it. Same issue again today when someone sent me a friend request. Playing with this person for the first time and they sent me a friend request but having an issue. This is the error I get when I try to accept his request. "This account is already on your friends list." when it is not. I currently have only 28 people on my friends list so I know it's not full.



As you can see from the screen shot I don't have anybody starting with "DAI" and no he's not Online at the moment. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a work around? Any help would be appreciated. Sorry if this is a double post but I couldn't find any with a similar issue.'



Edit: I found a workaround for now, just send him an invite instead. I think that is what happen because the Accept is not there or it finally took my request. Either way he's on my friends list now. He's not online to confirm if he accepted my request.
