Sovereignty, what does "effect" mean? [solved]

I gain 41 resist all instead of 27 (tooltip) from Purity. I have both Sovereignty and Influence for 54% additional effect from auras. 27 * 1.54 = 41.58. I don't have Inner Force.

It increases the effects of auras you cast. But you have to cast them when you have sovereignty.
Try turning off purity and turning it back on after you get sovereignty. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:
