Iron reflexes jade flask affix question
|
Hello I need some help concerning the mechanics of iron reflexes.
Does the jade flask affix that adds example 90% evasion during flask effect increase the armor by 7600 during the flask effect? |

" Tested in game... yes; however, armor % affix gives you a larger chunk of defense since it's based off % of your actual armor, as opposed to evasion. Last edited by Fenyx_187#3959 on Oct 31, 2013, 2:12:13 AM

No. A Jade Flask of (+90% evasion) would add 3000 to your base armor and add 90% increased armor to whatever you have without it.
Ex.: A character with Iron Reflexes has 6000 armor total with 100% increased armor from passives, gear, etc. His armor base armor is thus 3000. He drinks a Jade Flask of (+100% evasion). He now has a 'base' armor of 6000 and 200% increased armor. This gives him a total armor of 18000 while the flask effect lasts. |

Hi,
I was thinking of the same thing, but taking it a bit further. What I'm thinking about is: If i have lvl20 grace, with 50% more aura effect passives, that gives me ~3k EV. i have 100% extra evasion from passives, that makes it 6k Evasion, all converted to armor by Iron reflexes. Correct so far right? So if I drink a jade flask with 100% (be optimistic) increased evasion, that will give me 3k base evasion to the 3k from grace, and that is multiplied by 3 for the flask affix and for the passives (3k+3k)*(100+100+100)% =18k. Right? Or did I already misunderstand the mechanics behind this? In case I didn't: If I pop a granite flask with +100% armor on top of my jade flask, will the formula look like this? (18k + 3k) *2 = 42k armor? So count base evasion, apply multipliers, convert it to base aromr, add any extra base armor, apply armor multipliers. Is that correct, or did i miss something? Thanks.
