Life Flask Mechanics

Forgive me for asking a terrible noobish question, but I was wondering how exactly do they work?

I know if you double drink Utility pots you simply waste the potential because all it does is reset the buff duration. Does the same apply to Life Flasks?

If it does reset the regen buff, does that mean seething pots will interrupt a previous pot? For example, If I drink a Sapping Life Flask, then quickly consume some seething pots, does it interrupt the regeneration of the Sapping Life Flask?

If drinking a health pot multiple times does reset the life regen buff, it would be nice if we could sometime in the future get a buff display for them to help avoid wasting charges.
You are correct that flasks do not stack. Also if a flask causes you to reach your max health/mana the flask effect then ends immediately. I always keep an instant recovery life flask handy for those "oh crap" situations, so then if your health drops real low you can spam your instant recovery flask to heal up quickly. Since the recovery is instant the flask charges wont overwrite each other.
If you search for flask, it is well described here:

Basically, multiple life flasks are queued, with the more powerful flask being used first.
Thank you, that answers all but one question that I have now.

Animation pots, If I read correctly, if your at full life, the flask effect ends prematurely. Does this hold true for these as well? Right now I am using Seething and Sapping, so would being at full life prevent either one from affecting my minions?

You can use Animation flasks even if you're CI ("1hp, immune to chaos damage" passive)
Minions will receive healing as stated: (40-60%) hp is granted to your minions
(like 1300*50% = 650 hp goes to minions in # (as stated on flask) seconds)
Remember, suffering is convenient.
That is why many people prefer it.
Happiness requires effort.
