Does --softwareaudio works on Steam?

I have Creative SoundBlaster Card or X-Fi Extreme Music. After using the --softwareaudio on standlone shortcut while playing PoE (Offical Site) i didnt have any problem. Now i just starting to have crashes to Blue Screens while playing on Steam. I had shortcut playing PoE (Steam) with --softwareaudio, but does it really work?

When you guys going to fix this issues with Creative Blaster Sound Cards?

Thanks, i just did that on steam's launch option if that will work or not. So does -swa is same as --softwareaudio too? Never use that command switch before.

-swa and --softwareaudio are the same command line just abbreviated to save space.

Going by the steam threads it does work for the most part(though there are a very few exceptions)
Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

He who controls the pants controls the galaxy. - Rick & Morty S3E1
Thank you, i have been using --softwareaudio for sometime during closed beta and havent had any problems since Steam. Guess copy to desktop to use that command switch to launch the game while on Steam doesnt work.

Only played the game for couple of hours on Steam with launch option with -swa. Hopefully it will work for me.
