New Orb, a smart and needed one

Ive been looking and asking for this thing and it seems it dont exist. It would be nice to have such Orb, especially for Low level Unique items. Heres an example
Unavailable Love the Phyz dmg% and Life, but because its low level, the Def% on that low def makes its worse and worse over progression and that Cannot evade amplifies the need for Def. To those who dont understand, this orb would only upgrade the base item (def for armor, x-x dmg for weapons. Stats dont get touched Items are generated in difficulty series just like in Diablo 2 ( normal, exceptionnal and Elite). Trouble with this is when you get uniques (especially weapons) that are designed to be overpowered at their level, with the assumption that the character will eventually outgrow them.
Bringing those up to endgame, while appealing in principle, would in practice make for a lot more disappointing drops ("Meh, it's a sword. I've already got Tipua"). I have wandered through insanity;

Mirrors can't make copies of uniques. So I don't know what you're getting at there. Also, as the other poster said, many uniques you outgrow, or because of how powerful their mods are, or how unique their mods are, there's supposed to be a tradeoff.

Because there's supposed to be a trade off.
Risk vs reward. Some high tier maligaros defeats this, and everyone would wear it all the time. |

" Yeah i get the point of tradeoff but still... i believe that it will might be implement someday and that they will have the uniques stats scaled for that purpose before Release. they have Brother Laz working with them now, as a unique items creator and consultant. Every items were upgradable that way in his modz, which was part of the success ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it
