Razer Naga mouse numberpad modifier button issue

Having a problem with using the shift key to stand in place and cast spells with a Razer Naga mouse as the shift modifier is toggleing an auto fire function when using the numberpad keys.

I have a Razer naga mouse with 12 side buttons. The mouse can be switch set to use either the number keys or the numberpad keys. When I have the mouse configured to use the number keys (1 thru 0 plus - and =) everything works fine. When I have the mouse configured to use the numberpad keys (Num1 thru Num12) there is a problem.

With shift bound to stand in place to attack(default setting) and Ice Nove bound to the Num1 key(which equates to side button 1 on my mouse)
- holding shift then pressing mouse button 1(MB1) results in no cast at all (this should stand in place and cast Ice Nova)
- pressing MB1 then shift results in Ice Nova auto casting repeated over and over until MB1 is pressed twice

Seems like shift+MB1 is toggleing some form of auto repeat function until MB1 is pressed twice again. I`m assuming this is a game software driven function as opposed to a mouse driver function as I have used this mouse with shift/ctrl/alt modifiers for wow for years with no auto repeat type of action happening.

Thoughts?

It's nice of this could work as it leaves keys 1 thru 11 on a hand keyboard free for flasks and other keybinds while using the numbpad keys for bound skills.

Ran a test where i did not use my mouse at all and problem still happens. Bound skill number one to the Numberpad 1 key on my keyboard and same issue occurs on casting as descibed in previous post. Shift modifier with numberpad keys toggling some form of auto repeat. This test showed issue not with mouse/drivers as only my keyboard was used.

Get new mouse?

LOL - this will be an issue when they go open beta, lots of people out there with multi-button mice that use numberpad mapping and it appears none of them will work the way things are set up at the moment.

I use a Naga. This does not happen to me.

Actually I have noticed that shift does not work with the side buttons... I just do not see any reason that you would want or need to use shift for any of those buttons. You do realize that shift+nova does absolutely nothing right?

This is happening to me, and it doesn't matter that it's a mouse's side buttons - if you wanted to keybind the numberpad to your spells, and wanted to Stand Still and cast using those keys, it isn't working.

For example, I have Ice Spear on Num5, and I cannot Shift + cast Ice Spear (to stand still and cast), so I am forced to just aim it and hope that my character doesn't decide that wandering around is the ideal way to shoot far away enemies....

Strange I'm having a similar issue but with iCue. I had suspected it was a POE issue because it works perfectly fine in other games. Same problems with shift and sometimes the side buttons will just lag or not work at all.

Last season (my first) was working better, it was only in delves where I noticed this issue. Now it's happening the entire way through the current campaign.
