Does the 30% more damage affect the Righteous Fire Degeneration?

Righteous fire burns you, like fire trap, and searing bond, which does fire degen,. but not ignite. ignite is from critical strikes with fire damage. So it not supposed to work. Also as damage over time is not affected by LeHeup of all (20% increased damage) I dont think it would increase the damage of RF

RF is a "burn". An ignite is when you're burning due to having fire damage trigger an ignition by either critting or some kind of chance to ignite mod.

Would righteous fire not trigger the rings +30% when ignited damage then?!

How the hell is the ring even useful then. . . I'm trying to think of a build, but relying on VERY inconsistant monsters to ignite you?

It's a low level ring intended to make getting hit with elemental damage less painful. Would stack well with something like Immortal Flesh or when playing CI. Probably better with CI cause of the ES roll.

yeah, thats correct, it is used if an enemy monster deals a fire crit on you, and ignites you. Rf does not do ignite, it does burn. Burn from different sources (fire trap, searing bond and Rf) stacks, so 1 monster/player can be affected by more burns (if from different source, so not 2 fire trap) but only the strongest ignite affects the player/mob

what a useless piece of crap. i thought RF would proc the 30% dmg bonus and was planning a build with it and then i came to this thread. i'm so disappointed :/
