Windowed Fullscreen does not use the whole screen with a vertical taskbar

When using a vertical taskbar in Windows (one that goes from top to bottom and is snapped to the left of the monitor in my case) and choosing Windowed Fullscreen mode in PoE, when starting the game up the area which the taskbar occupies is clipped, the game doesn't use it and the entire game screen is offset by the width of the taskbar so that for example the string in the bottom right which reads 'release tags x.x.x' is clipped on its right side.

If I move my taskbar to the bottom and then start the game everything is fine, the entire screen space is used. If I then move it back to the vertical orientation while the game is running there is no issue either. The issue is only at startup.

I have the same issue. Would like a fix if possible. I'm guessing it just has something to do with miscalculating the starting the X value for the top left of the screen.
if you setup your taskbar to automatically hide, there is only a small border left. should help until the problem is fixed

Most games in windowed mode will not overlap the task bar.

problem is, the poe client does overlap it in windowed fullscreen mode when the taskbar is at the bottom and does not overlap when it is located on the left side.

Likely an oversight on thier part, by default it wont overlap the taskbar anywhere. Side bars are pretty rare, prolly no one in thier office uses them, so they missed it. Im sure they will fix it in the next patch or two.

i actually like the ability to have poe fullscreen on one monitor and be able to move the mouse to the second monitor where my tools are.

as it should be:
- windowed mode is freely scalable and doesn't hide the task bar.
- windowed fullscreen occupies a whole screen and hides the task bar (whereever it is)
- full screen occupies a whole screen and traps the mouse and all inputs.
