Not sure where to put this.... Mouse wheel and alternative mouse buttons?

PoE currently recognized my mouse wheel scroll for the camera angle, but it does not recognize the middle click. It would be super convenient if I could have more than one skill available for click use, so is there a way around this?

I was also hoping there was a way to use the thumb button on my mouse (no idea what it's called) as a hotkey for skills instead of q/w/e/r

Hi, as far as I know you would have to assign those keys to the mouse buttons in external application ( some kind usually comes with the mouse). I'm pretty sure you can't do this in the client itself. They are adding more keys you can set, perhaps this kind of buttons is included.

I suppose I kind of expected that. The reason I was wondering though is because there are 3 mouse button assignments in the UI, and I was told when asked that the middle one is for the middle mouse button, so I thought it was odd that it didnt work with my middle mouse button.

Oh, it is kinda odd, but I have no idea how to fix it, sorry.
I always thought windows system loads some drivers with the middle click included, but if you want to use the other buttons, you probably have to use the drivers that came with the mouse. I'd just try to uninstall them and load the windows drivers instead, just to see what it does.

Not sure why yours isn't being recognized...as far as your thumb button, that's what I do. My mouse (Logitech G700) has 13 different buttons on it and came with software that allows you to "reprogram" them for individual applications. I simply assigned one of the buttons to act as the middle mouse button, as it is easier for me to click. You should be able to do the same with third-party software found online; I've heard good things about Autohotkey, though I have no clue how it works. If you get some time and feel strongly enough about it, give it a shot. Hope this helps ya!
