All your WED is converted to fire damage. You don't deal any other damage. So there is nothing to calculate.
IGN DanteAllighari - Standard
ArcTesla - Domination
DanteAlighari - Domination
if im using a purely physical weapon, half of that damage is converted to fire. Is that then purely fire dmg, or fire dmg from the weapon?
A clearer question would have been to ask when the conversion occurs. Specifically: Is the conversion before or after the elemental damage bonuses.
I believe the answer is that the conversion happens last, but am not sure.

The source of the damage is not changed by the conversion, however. If the damage came from a weapon it still came from a weapon regardless of whether there was a conversion or not.

WED will boost the fire damage that AoF converts

Not sure what you're getting at here. Its still fire damage regardless of whether or not its calculated before or after WED.

Do all of your conversions with AoF. Figure out your fire damage. Thats your base damage. Calculations for skills and stuff comes afterwards, including support gems.
