Steam account cannot be verified... No email address... no password...

So, I've run into a number of outstanding issues that will have to be resolved before I spend any money on this game. The first of which is that I have registered for an account which cannot be logged into because the only log in option in game is "log in with your steam account." There is no option to bypass the steam account and log in with my existing account.

Aside from that, my steam account log in has not been verified. However, www.pathofexile.com does not have an email address on record for me... seeing as how I never gave them one. I have requested the verification email to be sent a number of times (I assume to the same email address as my steam account) but I have never received a single notice.

I have attempted to change my email address... to no avail. I cannot change my email address because it must be verified through email first then I must enter my password which I NEVER CREATED.

This is beyond frustrating to say the least. I would love to throw some money at this game to support the development, but I can't even be sure if my account is secure... I know that my email address is not valid, I cannot verify my account or change my credentials, and beyond that... I created a new account using my preferred email address and CANNOT LOG IN without using my steam account with NO CREDENTIALS.

To further compound this, there is obviously no option to merge accounts, my preferred email address is already used by an existing account (one that cannot be logged into in game), and I still cannot verify my existing email address.

Please help me.

P.S. I do not want to use my "Account Name" as my forum name and that is also not an option.

I am also having this problem, I went to purchase a beta support pack and I can't for reasons stated above, no email, no password, but steam account linked. Plus there is only a few hours left to purchase beta packs.

Alright, I finally found the solution to my problem!

First thing is to link your PoE account to your steam account. ANYTHING ON YOUR EXISTING STEAM ACCOUNT WILL BE DELETED WHEN YOU LINK THE NEW ACCOUNT TO YOUR STEAM PROFILE.

To do this, log into www.pathofexile.com (to be more precise, www.pathofexile.com/my-account) with your PoE account (verified with email address and password), then select "Manage Account." From this menu you will see an option for "Steam," which will allow you to bind your verified PoE account to your Steam account. As I mentioned above, it will delete your original Steam account and anything created under that account (but since there was no password or email address attached I hadn't made any characters or paid for any microtansactions on it yet). You should then be able to log into the PoE website using either your Steam login or your email address and password.

Now I have my Steam account attached to my fully verified PoE account and can receive emails such as receipts of purchase etc. from Path of Exile!

I hope any of you who find this thread in search of answers have to look no further.

TL;DR Check your email after trying to log in to the Steam version with your non-Steam username and password.

Yeah, I was having the same problem. Uninstalled, reinstalled off steam, tried the 'log in with existing account', no dice.

[Edit: Never mind I was being retarded. At the bottom of the email there's a link saying 'click here to merge your account with Steam'.]

my yahoo email says it doesn't exist and i used it to create my account and now i need to verify my account but i can't because my email will not let me log in what do i do?

But when i was at the log in with stam page, i noticed that they create an email and secret password for you, is that a way to see what your email and pw is? i mean i didnt recieve any email as well...
