What happens to guild stash tabs when I leave my guild?

I created a guild to play with some friends. I wanna buy some stash tabs so we can share items easier with each other. What happens if I (the creator of the guild) leave the guild/delete the guild? If I create a new guild will I have the tabs available again?

I would appreciate an answer for this as well. It's obvious that guild members are only donating to the guild bank so the founder can buy the slots, but if the entire guild disbands, are the guild stash slots still tied to the leader's account for use with any future guilds they create, or are they lost to the void?

" This is the official answer from GGG. The easiest way to solve this is just create a new account and put it as guild leader. This way you can join other guilds with your main account and don't lose your guild stash tabs. | |

Man, this is a bad solution considering the cost of guild stash tabs. I made a guild and bought 1 tab to experiment with, now if I leave my guild the tab disappears into the void? Do I understand correctly?
Can I create an alternate account and promote him to officer and then leave the guild to keep the stash tab in existence? Anarchy/Onslaught T shirt

" I emailed GGG again asking if that is intended behavior (I Guess it is not...). Anyway, you can just create 2 accounts and test. But I think it's simpler to have one account as guild leader. You can purchase the tabs with whatever accounts since the points are "guild points" once you donate'em (so you can still buy points with your main account and just donate them to your guild). The "extra" account is just to hold the guild. That's probably what I'm gonna do since I wanna share things with my friends and guild stash are also inter-league trade able. So when I create my Dominion char for the achievements I'll already have some leveling gear and currency. | |

There should ne am Option to activate and deactivate it like the weaponeffect system.

i agree, there should be a reclaim effect button :,( hoping GGG will put in cus im stuck in a guild on my own now. for younger people we cant waste money! £3 for 1 slot is alot and now im stuck to

"Quite an old thread here. You are not stuck. Do what was suggested. Make another account. Invite second account to guild. Accept invitation from second account. Click the Promote to Guild Leader button for the second account. Then leave the guild and let the second account keep the guild with tab. Letting a guild leader take stash tabs with him would really open the door to a lot of unsavory behavior. People donate money to buy guild tabs. Leader says "thanks for the donation, I'm taking the tabs with me". Or even worse, Leader says "I'll sell you my item if you donate money to the guild that I can take with me when I leave the guild". Sorry to bump, but It would be even better.. if you know- thhe made purchase was tied to the original donator. If the guild is disbanded, then anyone gets their stuff reimbursed. All investment on points. It otherwise creates a situation like what I'm in.
Where, some of my friends are stuck in a guild, because we all created one, in advance- and bought tabs or some sort. But now we can't merge our main accounts together- and or guilds. So it means that we're divided into super-small groups. Even if I had to pay money to recover it all, that'd be an acceptable solution, or something. Or hell to merge guilds I don't know. |
