see other peoples passive skill tree

it would be cool if the game had a feature so you can see other peoples passive skill tree in game, like when you inspect someone and see there gear in other games. and also have the option so someone can hide there passive skill tree incase they dont want other people seeing it.

Yeah i guess i sort of agree with the secondary poster on that.

At first I was like "yeah"

but now I'm like "no"

I wouldnt go as far as declaring it a privacy breach, but it is still a definite no, regardless. Especially with the coming introduction of PvP arenas.

so give an option to hide, as long as thats there i support this fully

These character stalking features are something that came up with the flood of mmo games in the last few years.

I personally don't like that and also don't think it would be a good thing to have, poE is an ARPG, not an mmo.

Passive skill tree could be something you could trade maybe.

For example, if I had a really powerful build, you could offer me 2 GCP or something and I could trade you a copy of my tree verified at that time. Many technicalities around this though, it could be fun.

I'm gunna have to disagree with this.

It's far easier to just ask, and they can send a pm with the link.

You shouldn't need to trade actual goods for this.

The option to see someones passive skill tree in game might be good, but only if the person posts it in global or local chat. Or even a whisper.

Why not just start a thread on the forum for people to post their skill tree. Those who are interested will come and check it out, those who are outraged by the suggestion can steer clear.
