However, if you want to purchase a support pack, just go to the "Buy Packs" option under the "Shop" button on the top of the webpage. nothing.. and ye obviously if u feel like supporting the game get a nice supporter pack.. no real advantage tho just cool stuff to wear and have because this isnt p2w.

The game is fully free. You cannot buy anything that helps you to progress ingame.
You can download it, make an account and play as long as you want. If you like it and want to stay with POE, it would not be wrong to show your appreciation with a donation. You do not even need to buy a supporter pack, there are also pure points for sale. With these points you can make your char looking very cool and impressive or walk with a pet instead of walking alone. |

well debatable whether some of the things u can buy directly help you.
The stash tabs... i'd say yes, but, not exactly a "gives you 1000 dps" the items you sell from having those extra stash tabs. will give you that 1000 dps. |

To say the very truth, the stashtabs help you best after you have been lucky in the game and found this portal gem.
But it takes (normally) pretty long time and until you do not really know all the recipes and haven´t found the portal gem you can easily play with what you get from GGG. |

Stashtabs isnt a necessity but a luxury.I sure felt a relieve buying 6 recently,but i could make any char i wanted and give them there.Or heck,by their policy you can have a different account and have 4 more tabs.Sweet isnt it?:)

You can store more items and can either use them to gear new characters, sell them for even more currency-which you might have at least one or two pages full of it-, and possibly full of maps. Sure, you can hold more but it has no effect on "DPS" for your characters. Some try to argue that stash tabs are "P2W", but they aren't. If you are willing to buy them, they make saving gear and collecting currency much easier, yes. However, it doesn't affect your character at all nor does it change the rate at which you can gain currency. Enemies still drop set amounts of currency and items and you can easily sell it all off. Now, if you could go to the microtransactions and purchase a portal gem, that would be "P2W". |

" The #1 reason they aren't P2W is that all accounts are free and you can have an insane (24) amount of characters on each account, meaning storage space isn't hard to come by.
