I am really excited to hear that Poe will be released on Steam but I got this message when clicking the launch trailer on Steam
"This item is currently unavailable in your region" I hoped that I could tell my Steam friends about PoE but now ... :( |

i have no clue what this trading card everyone talk about is? is it better?/cheaper? etc then directly from poe site? :S |

" Steam Trading Cards are just a small feature introduced by Steam for many games some months ago. Basically you play and get Trading Cards featuring Game Artworks as a reward for your gaming time/investment into F2P games. They are tradeable on the Steam Marketplace and if you collect a whole set of a game, you can adjust your profile site to reflect this and get exclusive chat stickers. The way trading cards work for free steam games is you unlock the potential to get more card "drops" based on how much money you put into the game.
Also GGG gets a cut of every card sold between players on the community market. In fact because this is the way they system works the cards will (in the beginning) most likely sell for more than a dollar, many people will most likely make a bit of pocket change through this method. |
