umm whats the best way help or kill..thanks for any advice

good idea but i'm not a tea drinker...if she likes a beer or 3 then we have a party...

Marauder isn't a build. And of you're playing a marauder how they usually are, helping Alira would likely make your marauder even worse.

One thing that's not obvious about PoE is that classes mean very little, especially compared to games like Diablo. What matters much more is the specific build you are using.

- For instance, it's generally good to decide pretty early on if you are going to be an HP character, ES character, or a hybrid.

- You also will, at some point, decide whether to focus on Armor, Evasion, or pure HP/ES value as your primary form of absorbing damage.

- And in addition, you MUST plan out what Keystones you'll get eventually. This is a good example: If you are planning on getting the Blood Magic gem, helping Alira to get +40 Mana is a complete waste. If you are a pure life character, helping Oak to get +40 Life is generally a good choice, but not so much if you are a hybrid and almost worthless if you are going to get Chaos Innoculation.


In general, as a Marauder it is easy to do life based characters, and ES characters are very difficult, so I'd recommend either helping Oak, or killing all of them for the extra skill point.

Note that getting 8% All Res is basically an always mediocre choice. Until you are well geared it is actually very helpful IMO, but All Res is an area you can throw money at more effectively than the other options so as you get further into end-game it becomes less useful.

Just help Oak.

Don't kill him, he gives you too good of a bonus and is really difficult.

As you get into the higher difficulties you'll need to be more specific about your rewards.

I'm a nubasaur that helps kraitlyn cos +8 to all resistances is great and better than any non notable passive.

hey thanks for all the advice :)
i did click to help but i left the game shortly after that so i can go back and change, which i shall try'n do. also sorry if my question/s sound so silly i AM a newb to this game and well gaming in general.....expect more silly questions from me but answers answered seriously would be appreciated. everyone has to learn somewhere, somehow.
