Can we gift cosmetic item to our friend ?

I would like to know can i gift a cosmetic item to our friend ,
EX: if i buy a pet for my girfriend do i have to buy it on her accont or could i gift it to her inside the game environement after i bought it on my accont ? |

You would have to buy it on her account. Gifting of mtx's would lead to a p2w situation with people buying a Kaom's for a Giant Weta, or whatever.
All the things I want to remember are in the places I'd like to forget.
