Auto-sort button.

Would asking for auto-sort button be bad?

Just a simple auto-sort button for inventory and stash page primarily for stash...
Avg. player is kinda short on stash space so we always have to sort out things manually and rearrange stash space to fit more currency, gems, etc...

For example you put currency on stash page 1 after hitting a button it would auto arrange all the items present using columns similar to using ctrl+left click when moving them from inventory with addition of sorting them according to their value first ident. scrolls, portal scrolls, etc... Same for gems, for example first red then green then blue, gems withing colour would be sorted by particular skill then quality then lvl...

All cases would not use next column unless first one is full or item cant fit, because point is fast way of conserving stash space...

Manually doing something easy to automate is hardcore.

Next patch: hidden life meter. You must manually keep track of how much damage your character has taken.

Gems used to be even harder to sort! They all used the same basic icon. one for active and one for support, and red/green/blue.

Now that anarchy is over, and I really want my stash to be organized, well, damn. I either need more free time or auto-sort. Especially for gems.... 6 stash tabs worth of em (i have a problem, i know) is gonna take a while.

its not even that hard to code,

problem is, since its an always-online game, everytime someone presses auto-sort it has to update the inventory data on the server for every item... this happens anyway, just for one item at a time

nah they just cut corners, and afterall diablo 2 didnt have autosort


they probably have it someday, probably as a mtx cause they be like that lol
