How is damage calculated in Dual Wielding?

If I use Ground Slam and have 2 hammers with 100-200 dmg in both hands what would be the DMG of GS?

And what's the block chance? I see tha there's +block chance nodes while dual wieliding, what's the base/start block chance?

And what happens if I wear Axe + Mace?
Will the GS benefits from both weapons special passive nodes?
Like if I took +as only for Axes and reduced enemy stun trueshoot for Maces - will GS get both those benefits?

Base block chance is 15%. Ground Slam will result in alternating attack. Since a few patches the damage when dual wielding is shown correctly.

Yes, the ground slam will benefit fro both weapon special passive nodes. But only for every second strike... Or in other words: If you wear 2 swords, you get double the bonus from special nodes.

Global attributes of weapons count for both, local only for the weapon that strikes. For critical strike chance there is a global and a weapon-specific mod. The weapon-specific one improves the base-crit of the weapon. The global crit strike chance sums up with all crit boni and applies to both weapons. +attack speed is weapon-specific if it is on weapons (not 100% sure).

To add to prawdas response: while dual wielding you also get an attack speed increase :)

The only skills using both weapons while dual wieding are Cleave (requires swords in both hands) and of course dual strike (please correct me if i forgot some)... All other will alternate the used weapon (unless only one of the two weapon qualify for the skill - in that case it always uses that weapon)

Soooo...

Please analise for me this build: http://bit.ly/OYJf6j

My idea is to use the block chance - which was a main problem for my maraudeer.
So I decided to make a maraudeer on shield + 1h hammer, but I think that dual wield is the way to go - you have a block chance and a +as increase buff.

How much is the AS increase?
Also please compare this build to a 2h hammer build? What's the pros and the cons?

(What a standart 2h hammer build is for me: http://bit.ly/WcAbLi )

I suggest this as a 2h hammer build, and go for discipline and training if you can, it's a fucking amazing perk.
And remove the 2 diamond skin when you have capped resistences.

If you want block chance and high damage, just use staves.
A possible staff build.

Thx for the rpely.

Still staves don't get AS boost as dual wield.

Please anyone answer to my questions:

it uses only 1 weapon at time, so only the damage from the hammer used to use the skill
Ground slam with Dual Wielding will not function unless a mace is in the main hand. Only the main hand weapon is used to attack.
