dual wielding sceptre + wand

why cant i dual wiled these?

is it because one is ranged and one is melee? Cant GGG make the main hand the primary weapon which attacks are based off?

also there is no nodes for casting spells while dual wielding which i think is a bit lame considering there are heaps of nodes for dual wielding attacks

Do you even play the game, bro? Do you realize how broken that would be?
u can dual wield wands already i dont see how?

u lose alot of defence dual widling, and what attack would benefit from a wand in the offhand?

No, the whole point of dual wielding is it alternates between using your weapons. Being able to combine melee and ranged like that would cause a lot of problems like most skills only being able to be used with one or the other.

Actually similar situations are already handled by dual wielding - if you take a mace and a sword and use Ground slam you'll get the 10% more IAS bonus, but the skill will only use the mace.

whirling blades too, if u have 1 sword, claw or dagger and the other hand have a mace.
It will work but only use the claw sword or dagger.

I also dont see why this shouldnt work, doesnt seem overpowered.

would open up for some interesting builds with an increased number of offhands available

because of this:

you know how vulnerable a summoner would be with those 2 uniques? plus midnight bargain doesnt add that much damage

necromantic aegis is a much much better choice to go with montegreuls anyway

necromantic aegis using daressos courage, lioneyes remorse or even crest of perandus would be much better

oh and montegruels should be 45% less zombies so you can dual wield it and get 1 mega brute zombie, now that would be cool

if my calculations dont fool me - this would allow 6 big zombies. and this alone is worth all the risk

Necro Aegis is amazing i know that, been using several shields to see how fun they are and currently my choice is this

makes phys reflect less scary for my minions due to that 25% converted to fire
