Item Names?

Hi.

Well, I just wanted to know how Item Names are choosen (For the Orb of Chance/Alchemy Recipe)

If you have a look at a magic item, its kinda obvious


Prefix - Item - Suffix

This Item

was named Heated (fire dmg) Composite Bow of the Mongoose (+dex)
but after using a Regal Orb, the Item Name just went full retard...

I also checked some random names on poe.xyz and it seems, Item Names has nothing to do with Item Affixes, and Item Names are bound to specific Items (for example: Loath Slicer = Dex based weapons = Claw/Dagger/Swords)

So... How is this system working exactly?

Yeah when you exalt it it keeps its name.. so yeah weird stuff

When an item becomes rare it gets a random name, when you exalt the rare item it still is the same rare item, therefore the name doesnt change

A word for each mod would result in looong item names ;)
There are two lists of words out of which the name is randomly composed for rares.

Also: congratulations for wasting a regal ;)
It's nice to test all aspects of the game, but in this case... that orb had a high value (just in case I didn't know)

Well, i am not rich - but i am also not poor.
Regals are worth how much? Like 2 Chaos or something?

Is there any Item-Type which has a higher chance of getting the same name?
Doing some normal merveil runs with lots of IIQ/IIR sometimes, and i need a lot of Chance orbs, thats why im asking.
